Centre of Architecture cASLa was founded in 1996 on the initiative of the council of Almere. cASLa contributes to the image of Almere that is connected with architectural quality, architectural experiment, dynamics and urban allure. This contribution consists of organizing a broad range of public activities, ranging from events, exhibitions, tours, competitions, debates and seminars to architecture classes and construction workshops for children. The core of cASLa is to translate knowledge into activities, products and services that reach both the general public and professionals. Therefore cASLa organizes public events with an accessible character and also projects and activities for entrepreneurs and specialists in the construction and design world.
