Foundation for Analysis of Buildings

The Foundation for Analysis of Buildings was set up in 1986 by Jan Molema, with a view to processing knowledge he and his students had collected in the Analysis of Buildings project group at TU Delft’s Faculty of Architecture and publishing it in the form of exhibitions and books. Along with these publications symposia, workshops and study trips were organized over the years, as were international exchanges among university professors and students. With its projects the foundation seeks to provide the widest possible dissemination of the ideas of Dutch architects and urban designers, mainly those of the New Movement or het Nieuwe Bouwen.
