DutchCulture | TransArtists, Gerrit Rietveld Academie and the Sandberg Institute are organzing workshop and portfolio viewings on 7 June at DePUNT, Amsterdam. The first part of the day, Bojana Panevska will conduct a workshop about international mobility, artists-in-residence places around the world, where and how to look for funding for internationalizing your career and how to make a successful application. During the portfolio viewings the artists will have the opportunity to talk to the following curators or artists-in-residence experts:

Florian Weigl, V2_, Rotterdam (NL)
Florian Weigl is part of the V2_ curatorial team since 2015. Alongside his work at V2_, Florian also works as a freelance curator and as an external advisor for Amsterdamse Fonds voor de Kunsten and Province Overijssel. Before joining V2_ he was part of DeVerdieping, the cultural basement of TrouwAmsterdam, worked as programmer for NDSM-werf, has curated the Bright Collisions symposium about art and technology and the future of art at TodaysArt festival in The Hague co-curated FIBER festival '11 and '12 and and has worked with the Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ, Non-fiction, and Oude Kerk, Amsterdam.

Sofie Dederen, Frans Masereel Centre, Kasterlee (BE)
Director of the Frans Masereel Centre, the centre offers residencies and a working space to graphic designers, artists and critics who want to work with intaglio, relief printing, screen print or lithography, or who want to investigate the relationship of graphics with other visual arts. The focus is on creation and experimentation in the workshop. For the Frans Masereel Centrum Sofie programmed and developed projects like DOCUPRESS Anne-Mie Van Kerckhoven, Jan Kempenaers, Gowara Minsa, the exhibitions Exhibition Copy and More (MORE Publishers), E IL TOPO (2014). She's a founding member of the Foundation 'Workspaces Nederland en Vlaanderen' and is a board member for 0090 and for Greylight Projects.

Gerda Paliušyte
Curator and video artist currently residing in Amsterdam. In 2012-2015 together with Inesa Brašiške she initiated and curated The Gardens – an exhibition space based in Vilnius planetarium, which was dedicated for the presentation and dissemination of the Lithuanian contemporary art. Her last projects include The Road Movie, a docu-fiction film that has been commissioned and represented by XII Baltic triennial in 2015, “more not yet” – an ongoing series of exhibition documentaries and the new film “A Desire For Things To Work” that maps the voices of the phone sex workers in Amsterdam and which was presented in the 22nd Vilnius film festival in 2017. She also curated “Futures”, a group exhibition in Vilnius Contemporary Art Center in 2017. In her work Paliusyte has been addressing the limits of different representational regimes and the flow of time.

Anja Masling, NEVERNEVERLAND, Amsterdam (NL)
In a drastically changing artistic landscape, NEVERNEVERLAND feels the urge to facilitate a broad range of artistic practices by upcoming artists. NEVERNEVERLAND is organising exhibitions, artist residencies, events, lectures and screenings throughout the city of Amsterdam and abroad. Current residency is called De Nachtegaal, Heesterveld 35a, in Amsterdam South East.
