Anne Maamke Boonstra, Advisor International Heritage Cooperation

As Advisor on International Heritage Cooperation, I work together with our partners in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and abroad to facilitate global collaboration regarding the heritage that connects the Kingdom with other countries and cultures. We do this by providing creatives and heritage specialists access to our network, providing insight into the global heritage field, and through the Matching Fund & Travel Compensation. This support is accessible to creatives and heritage specialists within the Kingdom of the Netherlands and in some instances partner countries.

I feel very fortunate to be in the position to support creatives and heritage specialists, shining a light on moments in history that enrich the conversations being had in our society today.

I hold an MSc in International Relations and Diplomacy from Leiden University and the Clingendael Institute. During my bachelor's programme, I focused on cultural studies and the arts. Before joining DutchCulture, I fulfilled positions at various organisations focusing mostly on network and relationship management.
