Mondriaan Fund: Curator Researcher

Mondriaan Fonds: Curator Beschouwer
Funding for curatorial research

The Mondriaan Fund is one of the 6 national cultural funds, and supports and promotes the visual arts and cultural heritage in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

With this research grant the fund stimulates plans, visions and stories that strengthen and highlight the quality of contemporary visual arts and/or cultural heritage in the Netherlands and/or the Caribbean part of the Kingdom and that intensify the connection with the public.

This could, for example, concern a reflection or theoretical investigation that provides insight into specific developments in the visual arts, or new insights into a particular collection. Or it could be for a preparatory research into a possible exhibition, event, debate or project. The research may take place either within or outside the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
