Performing Arts Fund NL: Open Call Work Trip YPAM & Theatre Commons
The Performing Arts Fund is the cultural fund for music, theater, music theater, dance, and festivals in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. It is one of the 6 the national funds for culture. On behalf of the Dutch government, the Fund provides support to all forms of professional performing arts in the Netherlands and the Caribbean part of the Kingdom (Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Saba, Sint-Eustatius, Sint-Maarten).
This program is organised in collaboration with the Netherlands Embassy in Tokyo, YPAM in Yokohama, Theatre Commons in Tokyo, and Performing Arts Fund NL.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet artists, program makers, and other professionals from across the globe, with special attention for South East Asia. The YPAM Exchange program will accomodate artistic exchanges and conversations, as well as panel meetings, performances, and plenty of network opportunities.
Artists and organisations in the fields of dance, performance, or theatre.
For collectives, only one representitive is allowed to be present.
- A maximum of €2,000 per person for travel and/or accomodation costs to and in Tokyo/Yokohama.
- For participants from Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba there will be a maximum of €2,700.
Participants will organise and book it themselves.
- Professionals active in the fields of dance, performance, or theatre;
- professional experience in those fields for at least 10 to 15 years;
- have international ambitions;
- reside in the Netherlands or Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius or Saba;
- have a travel and accident insurance;
- be able to participate for at least eight days.
