Likhachev Foundation offers Cultural Fellowships in Russia

The Likhachev Foundation and the Fund of the First Russian President Boris N. Yeltsin, with support of the Committee on External Relations of St. Petersburg, announce a competition for 2-week cultural fellowships in St. Petersburg on 9 May - 22 May 2016.

The Cultural Fellowship Programme has been instated in 2008 and aims to promote cultural cooperation between Russia and other countries. Those eligible for the programme are specialists in the field of culture, education, and humanities who are currently working on creative projects related to Russian culture and history.

Participants of the programme are selected through open competition, with the stipulation that their fellowships contribute substantially to the completion of their projects. The fellows supported by the programme are brought to St. Petersburg (Russia) for a 2-week period. The programme’s Russian sponsors support travel and accommodation during the term of the fellowship, and prepare individually tailored programmes for the participants, based on their professional interests and needs of their projects.

For more information, check the website of the Cultural Fellowship Programme. The competition was brought to our attention by our partner On The Move, the cultural mobility information network.
