Sali Sylla | EUNIC Communications & Project Intern

Art and design have always been at the heart of my path. I'm particularly interested in how oral traditions and creative practices bring people and communities together. This interest has taken me from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne to the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, and now to a Master's in Comparative Arts and Media Studies at the Vrije Universiteit.

I've worked in cultural mediation and programming, from developing workshops and cultural programmes to coordinating events and partnerships. As the Communications & Project Coordinator Intern at EUNIC Netherlands, I'm currently supporting the cluster's communications and activities. Alongside this, I keep my own artistic practice rooted in Afro-diasporic narratives, and I run Studio Kùla, a creative studio I co-founded in Abidjan.
