Federal University of Alagoas, School of Architecture and Urban Planning

FAU offers undergraduate courses in Architecture and Urbanism and a graduate programme in Design, developing several activities of teaching, research and extension. It also offers the Master in Dynamics of Living Space, within its Graduate Program.

One of the aspects that qualifies the academic differential of FAU is the Program of Tutorial Education (PET) in Architecture, being one of five such programs that exist in Brazil.

FAU has seven research groups, architecture and town planning projects, and a model office. It also has a laboratory of environmental comfort, a laboratory of reduced models, and a laboratory of technology. Its Documentation Nucleus was extended to also house the collection of the postgraduate program.
