The General Archive of the Falcón State and the Archives of the Main Registry have establihsed the Historical Archives of Coro at the headquarters and under the custody of the Francisco de Miranda Experimental University. The documentary basis of this archive consist of documents dating back to 1981. The Historical Archive of Coro does not possess documents prior to 1864; but the Archive of the Main Registry keeps the notarized documents from 1641 to 1870.
