International Institute for Communication and Development

The International Institute for Communication and Development (IICD) was based in The Hague, the Netherlands, but its activities played out on the international stage. It was governed by its six-member Board of Trustees based in the Netherlands, comprised of leading representatives of the Dutch private, public and non-profit sector. The daily management of the institute was assigned by the Board to the Managing Director, and the members of the Board remained responsible for supervising management, ensuring adequate corporate governance and approving the organisational strategy and management policy.
