Museum of the African Diaspora

The Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) is a museum in San Francisco, California, documenting the African diaspora. The museum focuses on North America, the Caribbean, and South America, and traces the history of the African slave trade, African people's liberation movements in Africa and the New World, African music and its legacy in other musical forms, among other subjects.
