The major innovation is that the guide is available on an app which can be downloaded using a QR code for any mobile device, tablets or Smartphones. The addresses are geomapped, so you can easily locate any of the showrooms, hotels, restaurants, museums, galleries, studios, hubs and productive communities from your GPS, planning your activities and making the most of what the city has to offer.
We rediscovered every little corner of the Marvelous City, taking note of every stylish address. We investigated the Carioca Hollywood, where costumes arouse consumer desires. And we prepared a calendar with the major fashion events and exhibitions not to be missed. We photographed characters of city boroughs in the eyes of Alice Autran Garcia and recorded the look of each hub inthe State with styling by Marcia Disitzer. Valeria Delgado, coordinator of the SenaiModa Design, segmented the brands showrooms according to their style.
Launched by SENAI Moda Design/FIRJAN, Instituto Pereira Passos/Rio de Janeiro Municipality and SEBRAE/ RJ, this is the first official city guide aimed at domestic and foreign buyers, who come to the city. This edition’s special guest is Fred D’Orey, from Totem, who colors the Guide with his Winter 2013 prints."
The Guia Rio Capital da Moda is written in both Portuguese and English.
