Funding for international tours of pop musicians from Fryslân

Friesland Pop is al local foundation dedicated to improving the Frisian pop music scene. It aims to assist pop musicians of all levels, ages, and cultural backgrounds in their development and career. The scheme Music Export Fryslân is funded by the Platform Popcultuur Fryslân and annually provides financial support to 3 acts for touring abroad.

How much

A maximum of €1,000 per tour. The amount is a support contribution and can cover a portion of the total tour costs. The musicians themselves are responsible for the remaining portion of the costs.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 consecutive foreign dates;
  • Performances at official venues and/or festivals;
  • The Frisian act performs original work (a few covers are allowed, but the focus is on original work);
  • Required: confirmed dates of performances, names of venues or festivals + city + country, links to web pages of confirmed performances.
When to apply
Apply anytime
At least six weeks before the start of the tour.
