Johan Ferrier Fund

Funding for educational and cultural projects in Suriname

This fund was established in honour and in memory of Johan Ferrier, the last Governor and first President of Suriname.

The Fund reflects Johan Ferrier’s vision and values and supports community development and culture in Suriname, principles that he put into practice throughout his life and that the Johan Ferrier Fund is committed to continuing.

The Fund supports projects focused on education and culture in Suriname. While it is not specifically aimed at travel or mobility, it may support projects in Suriname that are developed through international collaboration with Surinamese partners.
