Poppunt Gelderland: Music Support Gelderland

Funding for international tours of pop musicians from the province of Gelderland

Poppunt Gelderland is a local organisation dedicated to the pop music scene in the province of Gelderland. It has one simple goal: to help musical talent in Gelderland move forward.

With the help of this fund, artists can make targeted investments in their musical careers, such as an (inter)national tour, with the goal of making real progress with their own music.

Who can apply

Organisations

Bands/artists who create original work and are from Gelderland. This means that the majority of the group must reside in Gelderland or that the act has a clear connection to the province. You don’t need to be a foundation, association, or have any other legal entity to apply. A representative can also submit the application on your behalf.

Project
Travel

An investment that clearly helps artists take the next step in their musical career. Examples include a tour (national or international), audio and video recordings, skill coaching, developing an innovative live concept, or hiring professionals for their plans.

Expenses that are not covered include:

  • Paying yourself
  • Renting rehearsal space
  • Personal investments (such as instruments or equipment)
  • Educational projects (such as a lesson book or educational performance)
  • Loan repayments (such as the 1/3 contribution from the Sena Music Production Fund)
  • Costs already incurred in the past

A maximum of €1,000

Requirements

The applications are reviewed by independent experts from the music sector. The committee considers:

  • The completeness of the application
  • The budget
  • The plan and timing
