Dutch writer and collector Han Nefkens purchased international contemporary art for his H+F Collection with the purpose of giving it to museums on long-term loan. He also founded the Han Nefkens Foundation, a private non-profit organisation that was set up in Barcelona in 2009 with the aim of connecting people through art, across all its disciplines.
