Europe on the cultural map

The idea of ​​a European culture pass is not new. As early as 2018, the European Parliament, at the initiative of Marietje Schaake, adopted a proposal to investigate the sustainability of a European museum card. However, concrete implementation failed to happen.

During this evening, we will explore how existing models can give new momentum to this idea. Cineville demonstrates how subscription models make culture accessible, strengthen audience engagement, and stimulate cooperation between cultural institutions. Moreover, with projects like Cineville Eurotrip, this takes on a European dimension, largely focusing on access to culture.

Together with cultural organizations, we are investigating how European culture passes can contribute to a more accessible, resilient, and better-connected cultural sector in Europe.
