I have a background in film history and African American history, which I combined in my academic research on the role of Black cinema in shaping our understanding of history. My passion for film comes from its ability to serve as a window to the unknown, allowing us to explore new worlds and step outside our comfort zones.

As a MEDIA advisor, I help creatives and industry professionals navigate funding opportunities within the Creative Europe programme that support the entire audiovisual sector. The media landscape is constantly evolving, and I find it incredibly rewarding to contribute to the growth of the audiovisual sector in both the Netherlands and Europe, making sure that diverse and innovative stories continue to find their way to audiences.
