International visitor: Christian Esch (DEU)

Dr. Christian Esch is Director of Director of the NRW KULTURsekretariat in Wuppertal (Nordrhein-Westfalen), Germany.

The goal of his visit is to investigate the potential interest in setting up a programme for cultural cooperation with the Netherlands (and Belgium) for 2016, 2017 and eventually 2018, with a focus on cooperation between artists and institutions.

Mr. Esch is also exploring the possibilities of a matching fund for this cooperation programme. During his visit, he will meet representatives of public funds, theatres, digital media institutes and exhibition spaces and various individuals in the cultural field.

This visitors programme has been organised together with Het Nieuwe Instituut and Inez Boogaarts (former Head Press and Cultural Affairs at the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Düsseldorf, NRW)
