Join Carnaval at Tropenmuseum!

Look-listen-do exhibition MixMax Brasil at Tropenmuseum Junior

Now on display at Tropenmuseum Junior: a brand new look-listen-do exhibition! From October 2012 Tropenmuseum Junior will be transformed into an imaginative artists’ quarter in Brasil.

Where in the world does everyone wear flip-flops? Where do footballers dance? Where does capoeira come from? And where does everyone come from different parts of the world? Olà – Brazil of course!

The exhibition space for MixMax Brasil will be full of doors and windows and surprising nooks and crannies: a mangrove tunnel, a dance atelier and a music studio, a bottle cave and a mix factory. So far more than thirty artists and craftspeople from Pernambuco in North-East Brazil have contributed to this exhibition.

From 9th of februari untill the 1st of March, you can celebrate Carnaval at the exhibition !
