On The Road
This summer we are inviting you to take a (virtual) road trip through the USA, from the West Coast (Oysterville) to the Gulf Coast (New Orleans). On the way we’ll show you 13 residencies - in small and in big cities, in national parks and in deserted areas.

Undercover
But this isn’t all: This summer we’re bringing you two AiR Collections! After the AiR road trip across the USA, have a look at the stories about artists “Undercover”.  The idea here is that artists can be anyone, anywhere, so we have selected stories of artists that are operating as an anthropologist, a spy, a trainee, a taxi driver, a stockbroker, a passanger, a luxury hotel guest, and much more - discover them here: Undercover.

The AiR Collections
The AiR Collections give you a broad perspective on the immense world of artist residencies, through a specific narrow entrance. The collections also include useful background information and deadlines, plus related content such as books and readers, which is found in the right column. The collection can be seen as a starting point; a place for plural views and stories relating to the theme.
