Matra programma

The Matra programme supports social reforms in Eastern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Among other things the programme provides opportunities for cultural projects with a social purpose. 

Countries The Matra programme is active in many countries: Algeria, Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Croatia, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Morocco, Montenegro, the Ukraine, Poland, Romania, the Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Syria, the Czech Republic, Tunisia and Turkey.

The Dutch embassies in these countries administer part of the Matra programme (Matra KAP). Applications for financial assistance must come from the country itself.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs Matra is an extensive programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which includes projects with a range of sizes. The current programme is being reviewed at this time.
