Dansmakers: Touch it

Touch It is a performance by choreographer Gabriella Maiorino in collaboration with Brazilian collective Nucleu do Dirceu. As part of the Brasil Festival Amsterdam in the Melkweg.

Touch It departs from the pleasure or discomfort that "touch" contains for individuals from a specific cultural background. The relationships between bodies, the codes and gestures that make touching acceptable in one culture and unacceptable in others.
