Exposition Brasil e Holanda - Paz e Justiça in Salvador

From 13 - 26 March 2014 the exhibition Brasil e Holanda – Paz e Justiça (Brazil and the Netherlands – Peace and Justice) is to be seen in Salvador Shopping in Salvador da Bahia. Three major themes are being presented related to the concepts Remember, Reflect and React, interconnecting stories of Brazil and the Netherlands. Entrance is free.

The exhibition will present the trajectory of Maurice of Nassau and its influence in Brazil in the 17th century, Anne Frank and the Holocaust in Europe, and, finally, the City of The Hague, in the Netherlands, home to the International Court of Justice whose goal is the preservation of human rights and respect for international agreements. The aim of the exhibition is to provide the public with a reflection on the past to build a better future.

The exhibition is an initiative of the Netherlands Embassy in Brasília and realized in collaboration with the Anne Frank House in the Netherlands, Plataforma Brasil Holanda and Instituto Plataforma Brasil. From December 2013 until January 2014 the exhibition was to be seen in the Museu Nacional da República in Brasília.
