International visitor: Stuart MacDonald (GBR)
Stuart MacDonald is the founder and Executive Director of the Centre for Cultural Relations (CCR) at the University of Edinburgh. He is a strategy and policy expert with 20 years works of experience in international cultural, educational and social policy and has management experience in a wide range of senior roles in academia, government and NGOs.
Mr MacDonald is visiting the Netherlands in the framework of our International Visitors Program and will be speaking to many people about international cultural policies, strategic outlooks and international cultural exchange. He will be meeting representatives of the European Cultural Foundation, Prince Claus Fund, the Nexus Institute, HIVOS, Boekman Foundation, De Balie and more. He will also be giving a presentation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs about his view of international cultural policy with best practices from the UK.
