Determined to become one of the most active and most comprehensive performance centres in İstanbul and Turkey, Black Box İstanbul will be opening its gates to the music lovers this summer with Pozitif Live’s performance series starting off with a driving performance by the legendary DJ and producer Tiesto. This night will promise the attendees a bewildering experience of electronic music!

The legendary DJ and producer Tiesto, started his career in the 80’s when electronic music was on the rise, playing in clubs around The Netherlands and Belgium. In early 90’s he collaborated with other electronic music giants like Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten but later decided to focus on his solo career. His unforgettable performance in Amsterdam’s Innercity party became his first step to electronic music stardom. Famous for his 6 hour long sets, Tiesto stayed at the number one spot of DJ Magazine’s “Top 100 DJs” list for three consecutive years from 2002 to 2004. In 2004 Tiesto played his “Parade of Athletes” performance during the opening ceremony of the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. That was the first time that a DJ was asked to perform for a ceremony. With a record label of his own, 5 studio albums and mixed compilations Tiesto continues to stay on the high end of electronic music.
