Caribbean Culture Fund
The Caribbean Culture Fund supports the arts of the Caribbean (including the Caribbean part of the Kingdom), fostering inclusion, innovation and sustainability. The fund is incubated by Le Centre d’Art, Port-au-Prince, Haiti, with funding from Open Society Foundations.
The fund publishes open calls for a varying Caribbean islands. These calls focus on themes such as Caribbean Collaboration, supporting projects that reflect or catalyze intra-regional cooperation and the promotion of arts across linguistic and geographic boundaries within the Caribbean and its Diasporas.
Artists and cultural organisations from the Caribbean, including the Caribbean part of the Kingdom
Varying between a maximum of 10,000 and 25,000 USD.
- Calls are generally geographically limited;
Applicants are required to choose the genre that best describes their project from the following options: architecture, design (applied design, fashion design, interior design), film, libraries & archives (museums, galleries, heritage), literature & publishing (poetry, prose, comics; traditional and digital publishing), multimedia, music & sound recording, performing arts (theater, dance, festivals), photography, pottery, ceramics and sculpture, radio, television, video games, visual arts (painting and visual effects).
Not eligibe are:
- Projects that do not align with the theme of the open call;
- Exclusively commercial activities;
- Activities with very high budgets and no proof of co-financing;
- Projects that disseminate sexist, racist, offensive, hateful, or violent content or violence, or advocate authoritarianism and other anti-democratic ideologies
