Who can apply
Individuals

Students graduating from higher professional education (hbo), and academic education (wo) in the Netherlands.

For what
Education/training

For all VSBfonds Scholarships, the student's intention to go abroad is for their own personal development. The international plan should never be a part of a Dutch study. These scholarships are open to students from all fields of study, including the arts, and apply to all countries worldwide.

How much

The VSBfonds Scholarship amounts to a maximum of € 10,000 and is a total grant. The final amount of the scholarship depends on the study plan and budget. The maximum amount of € 10,000 is only paid to students who will pursue a two-year academic study. For all other studies and programs, the maximum is € 7,000.

For students with disabilities, it is possible in some cases to receive a higher scholarship amount. This potential higher scholarship amount can be determined after providing insight, through the budget planning in the application form, into the complete cost and coverage plan of the student, showing that additional costs are actually incurred due to this limitation.
