Netherlands Institute for Cultural Heritage becomes The Netherlands Cultural Heritage Agency As of 1 January 2011, the Netherlands Institute for Cultural Heritage (ICN) will be incorporated under the Netherlands Cultural Heritage Agency (RCE), resulting in all expertise in the field of movable and immovable cultural heritage being combined in one institute. The current tasks of the ICN will remain as they are in the new situation. That means that you can shortly apply to the RCE in Amsterdam for our research services, among other things, and the location in Rijswijk for loans from the collection. Please note that the postal and e-mail addresses of staff members will however change. We will be disposing of the building on the Gabriel Metsustraat. Staff members of Communication, Knowledge Distribution and Business Operations will be moving to the RCE’s building in Amersfoort as of 1 January. The ICN Information Centre will continue in the Ateliergebouw building in Amsterdam as part of the RCE library with headquarters in Amersfoort. Information in the field of restoration and conservation of art and movable cultural heritage can be obtained from Tuesday, 11 January in Amsterdam.
