Teylers Museum

Teylers Museum is the first and therefor oldest museum of the Netherlands that has always been open since 1784. Its mission is to activate the current interest for art and knowledge, from the historic mind-set of the enlightenment. This inheritance includes an authentic and monumental building, a rich history, extraordinary collections, and a way of thinking that characterises itself by a urge for progress, discovery and sharing knowledge to improve the world.
