Chinese Press conference about cultural policy

On Friday March 8th 6 members of the CPCCC held a press conference about culture and cultural policy. The speakers, most from the field, talked about the need for a strong cultural identity.

Among the items discussed were the difference between private an state investors in culture, and the difficulties the private investors encounter. Film policy and control was one of the other items discussed.
