Films for children on basic human rights instruments

This project supported by the Dutch governmental Matra fund aims the development of a child-friendly visual version of basic international human rights instruments that Turkey is a party to. The visual versions will be animated illustration films that explain the articles of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and Universal Declaration of Human Rights in an enjoyable and clear manner so that children can easily understand basic human rights instruments. The project involves the development of the films as well as their dissemination in the media and educational contexts in Turkey and internationally. The films will be launched by the end of September as a CD & cartoon book.
