Deadline approaching: new application round for the Matching Fund

Deadlines next round: 21 September for the (online) advisory meeting, 5 October for applications.

The Matching Fund International Heritage Cooperation supports projects that raise awareness of the shared history and heritage connecting the Kingdom of the Netherlands with one of the 24 focal countries within the Kingdom of the Netherlands’ International Cultural Policy 2025–2028. Organisations and individuals are encouraged to start developing new project proposals for the upcoming round.

Before submitting a full application, applicants must send a short project summary to [email protected]. Based on this summary, we will arrange an advisory meeting with the Matching Fund coordinator or one of DutchCulture’s country advisors. This consultation helps applicants assess the eligibility of their project and prepare a stronger application.

Important dates 

  • Deadline for advisory meetings: 21 September 2026
  • Deadline for Matching Fund applications: 5 October 2026
  • For this round, your project may not start before February 2027 and must be completed by 1 September 2028
