Second International Art Biennial of İzmir

The aim of the 2st International Art Biennale of İzmir is to explain how important the connective power of art is.

Artists and their works are great way to present different ideas and thoughts without being destructive. Artists explicate the importance of people respecting each other’s personality. The language of art is constitutive and restorative, teaches how to see, hear and try to understand each other. In it’s expression, there is none of vandalism, anger and violence, and it helps to recover any wound.

The International Art Biennale of İzmir has worked to bring various important artists together who are from many different cultures, countries and cities.

1600 artists from 58 different countries have applied to participate to the 2st International Biennial of İzmir. 500 artists from 58 countries have been selected. During this biennial, techniques of video art , illumination , textile (, ceramic , painting , performance , original printing ), sculpting , graphic , photographing , installation , Ebru , digital art , tile , glass  will be exhibited to the art lovers.
