30th São Paulo Biennial

Curated by the Venezuelan Luis Perez-Oramas,  the 30th edition of the Biennial of São Paulo will occur from September 7th  until December 9th 2012 with the theme of “A iminência das poéticas” (The Imminence of Poetics).

"The fundamental tool of the 30th São Paulo Biennial will be the notion of Constellation, therefore instead of focusing on single artists or works, the exhibition will present audiences with constellations of oeuvres that share a common theme, process or ideology”.

Part of this ‘constellation’ are: Bas Jan Ader (1942 - 1975) ,a famous Dutch artist from the 70's, Hrein Fridfinsson from Iceland living in The Netherlands and the Brazilian Pablo Pijnappel, also living in The Netherlands.
