Alessandro Penezzi & Alexandre Ribeiro

Brazilian guitarist Alessandro Penezzi plays specific instruments, among which the seven string guitar, violão tenor (tenor guitar), cavaquinho (soprano guitar), mandolin and flute. He is fascinated by choro. Just like his duo-partner, clarinettist Alexandre Ribeiro, he often collaborates with jazz orchestras. Tonight the two musicians perform in the BIMhuis as part of the Brasil Festival.
