Arthur Verocai and Orchestra in Paradiso

Arthur Verocai, born in 1945 in Rio de Janeiro, is, with only one album to his name, in small circles a great legend (TV on the Radio seems to be a big fan). The composer, who got classical education, experimented with jazz, funk, electronics, and Brazilian folk music, in such a way that almost forty years later his work is still very impressive . Verocai's  album without a title appeared in 1972, and only in 2002 a second album appeared , called Saudade Demais. In the meantime, he made a living as a successful composer of music for commercials and TV series. In 2007 a new album called Encore reaffirms the talent of this musical genius.
