Farkas jurymember in Rotterdam Filmfestival

The International Film Festival Rotterdam is one of the most important film festivals in the world, where large audiencegroups and film industry professionals meet. During its 12 days, hundreds of filmmakers and artists present their work to a large audience - in 2012, there were 274,000 people and 2,700 film professionals present.

The official selection of the festival includes nearly 200 feature films and 300 short films from 60 countries. The 42nd edition of the festival takes place from January 23 to February 3, 2013.

One of the most prestigious categories is the Tiger Awards. The curator and director of Videobrasil Solange Farkas was invited to join the jury for the category. The Dutch filmmaker and video artist Joost Rekveld, and the British artist Phil Collins are also part of the jury.
