Live from São Paulo on Museumplein, Amsterdam
On 23 June at 14.00 hrs, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra's performance in São Paulo will be broadcast live on Museumplein in Amsterdam. The orchestra will perform a spectacular open-air concert at the Auditório Ibirapuera by architect Oscar Niemeyer – just as it did in 1994, with an audience of more than 200,000 people.
This celebratory concert will be broadcast live on screens on Museumplein, where Amsterdammers can witness their hometown heroes playing some grand classics with some special South American twists.
The live broadcast is part of the Museumpleinweekend, a weekend of culture and entertainment for all ages on one of Amsterdam’s most renowned green spaces: the Museumplein.
