About the break-out sessions
During the event, you get the chance to follow two separate break-out sessions given by our advisors. You can choose two out of three options, namely:

Creative Europe & European collaboration
In the first half of this session, our advisor Gegeen Togooch guides you through the various funding possibilities of Creative Europe. Creative Europe is relevant to professionals working in collectives and organizations that are interested in transnational cooperation. This session focuses on the subprogramme Culture. Find out how to connect your ideas to the Creative Europe programme by quickly creating mock applications for the mobility scheme Culture Moves Europe. This scheme is suitable for artists who are interested in co-creating projects across borders. Finally, we come back in plenary to share our insights and remarks, and discuss the specific support needed during the application process.

Focal Countries
Are you interested in working in Belgium, Brazil, Japan or one of the other 21 focal countries? Our advisors Minke van Schaik and Astrid Mörk will break down the Dutch International Cultural Policy and its focal countries for you. Each country offers different opportunities in terms of artistic disciplines and societal themes that can align with your ambitions. Tell us about your plans for next year and we will help you set up your network in specific countries.

Find your Residency programme with DutchCulture | TransArtists
Join this break-out if you want to explore international residency opportunities. Artist and advisor Lotte Geeven helps you navigate the TransArtists database (with more than 1700 programmes) and answers any of your questions about the world of international Artist-in-Residency programmes.

About NewGen

In 2021, DutchCulture started the New Generations theme - NewGen in short - to connect with emerging artists in the early stages of their professional careers. We believe it is key to focus on this group and open their horizons to international cultural opportunities. We believe in a two-way dynamic; international experience can be incredibly enriching when starting your professional path and we are seeking to learn from the ways you approach your work, your networks, and your international orientation.
