Astrid Mörk, Advisor - Germany | Belgium

I grew up in Germany and moved to the Netherlands in 2013 to pursue my studies. I have a background in communications and I hold an MA in Arts, Culture and Society from Erasmus University Rotterdam. In my job as Advisor Germany/Belgium, I work to reinforce cultural collaboration between the Netherlands and its neighbouring countries. My aim is to support artists and creatives who wish to expand to Germany and Belgium, which I do by providing them with information and a network. What excites me about my work is getting to know many inspiring creative people and staying up to date on developments in the cultural field.

Before starting at DutchCulture, I worked at Aslan Muziekcentrum, where I coordinated projects for schools in Amsterdam to provide as many children as possible with music, dance and theatre education. In my free time, you can see me biking with my cello to orchestra rehearsal, or you might find me at film theatre Kriterion, organizing monthly film events on human rights topics for Movies that Matter.
