Michaël van Brouwershaven
As intern at DutchCulture I contribute to the new communications team. I write articles for the magazine and help brainstorming about compelling ways to inform people about the projects we undertake. In doing so, I hope to spread my enthusiasm for culture in all its forms — ultimately, I believe it’s the one thing that can bring us all closer to one another.
I majored in international law at Leiden University College, next to learning about topics ranging from gender studies to economics. I had the chance to live in Hong Kong for half a year during my degree, an experience which made me realise all the more how varied human life can be on our planet. Currently, I am in the last phase of a degree in art history.
Besides my studies and internship, I’m a tour guide at the Peace Palace in The Hague, I play the violin in a student orchestra and explore the latest releases at local cinemas.
