Jacquill G Basdew, Member - curator, multidisciplinary artist, cultural strategic advisor

I was born and raised in Amsterdam, but I've always felt deeply connected to the wider Netherlands from an early age. The core values of freedom, equality, and solidarity are central to my identity and practice. Through my artistic and social initiative, bsdwcorp., I lead cultural projects that prioritize inclusivity and societal advancement. In addition to my creative work, I hold key governance roles at Kunstmuseum The Hague, the Stadscuratorium Amsterdam, and the Advisory Board of the National Theatre. In all of these positions, I consistently strive to promote inclusivity and make art accessible to diverse communities. My goal is to engage a broad audience in the art and cultural dialogue, giving everyone the chance to experience the transformative power of art and culture.
