Professional Organizations

There is only one professional organization of industrial designers, established in 1988. This organization, the Industrial Designers Society of Turkey (ETMK), has been organizing product design exhibitions since 1994 and has published catalogues of these exhibitions. Through these catalogues, it is possible to follow the evolution of the Turkish design scene, the active consultant designers, in-house design groups, and through these groups the companies which have been investing in design.
