Spring of Shanghai-International Music Festival

The Spring of Shanghai—International Music Festival began as the Music and Dance Month of the “Spring of Shanghai” in 1950s. The Festival is held from May 5 to 15 every year sponsored by the Shanghai Media and Entertainment Group, the Shanghai Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and organized by the Shanghai Media Group and Shanghai Musician Association. The Festival has attracted international celebrities, orchestras and choirs, including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Boys’ Choir.
