Advertising-product Photography

The majority of the photographers specialize in advertising and product photography to finance their more creative work. Advertising media is vast in Turkey and its development is also encouraged by government regulations. Consequently there is never a shortage of advertising photography in daily newspapers, magazines, outdoor advertising, flyers, hand-outs, etc which could be the main source of income for many young photographers when they start out. Another commercial branch of photography which could be classified under advertising photography is shooting glossy portraits of famous people for music album covers and tabloid magazines. Nihat Odabaşı is a major photographer who only works in this style and is considered to be a highly famous person in the social scene.
