Despite the recognition of the art of photography by the cultural actors of Turkey, its accessibility and consumption still remains on a very basic level. Photographers still struggle to perform their work and be considered as artists by the general public and consequently to earn their lives with their profession. The contemporary photography market is starting to be building itself accordingly to the increasing number of galleries and agents. But the concept of photographic edition and the value of a photographic art work are still at the point of introduction to the buyer’s market.
