Dutch Culture Funds

One of the tasks of cultural funds is to support projects in connection with the international cultural policy. Which fund is relevant to your project or activity depends on the discipline in which you work:

• performing arts: Performing Arts Fund;
• visual arts, design and cultural heritage: Mondriaan Fund;
• literature: Dutch Foundation for Literature;
• architecture, urban design, landscape design, product design, graphic design, fashion and E-culture: Creative Industries Fund NL
• film: Netherlands Film Fund;
• amateur arts, cultural education and popular culture: Cultural Participation Fund

The cultural funds’ substantive priorities and geographic focus are consistent with those of the international cultural policy. In addition, some funds reserve part of their budgets for activities and temporary or other programmes which further specific trends within or on the edges of the disciplines.
