"1001" Faces of Orientalism

The Sakıp Sabancı Museum’s spring-summer exhibition takes in the full range of 19th century European fascination with the East, covering art to science, via fashion and architecture, with displays of paintings, archaeological finds, stage costumes, books and photographs. They will also be showning works of the Dutch orientalist Marius Bauer.
